Impostor syndrome has many names, but we've all felt it at one time or another, especially as LGBTQ+ folks working in product, tech, and beyond.
In this interactive community AMA, Phyllis Njoroge will talk about her own experience with impostor syndrome and the research that led her to write a book about it, and answer any questions you might have.
Ask your questions live during the AMA or here beforehand: https://app.sli.do/event/63NomNWa5LAECxAbP125Ny
Our Speaker
Phyllis Njoroge has a Bachelor of Science in cognitive and brain sciences earned from Tufts University, as well as a Women's Entrepreneurship certificate from Cornell University. As a growth product manager, she has experienced impostor syndrome, conferred with colleagues, and mentored employees that have battled against it. Njoroge realized that there was a recurring problem, but no solutions near at hand, and decided to do something about it.
The seemingly never-ending war against impostor syndrome stems from both internal and external sources and Njoroge shares her well-researched views on the subject in her book From Fraud to Freedom.
